Google reminded me that it is Frida Kahlo's birthday today, a woman who chronicled the pain of her miscarriages in her art. I love her depictions because they do not shield the viewer from the pain and corporeal reality of the loss of a wanted child. Happy birthday, Frida.

I thought of this today as well. I didn't know much about her when I went to an exhibit, and it made me cry.
Hi there. Just checking back to see how you are doing. i ran across a woman in my support group who had her recent miscarriage due to triploidy. My thoughts are with you and hope you keep this up.
